Current Film Project

“The Lost Negroes of North America”

Documentary filmmaker Ralph L. Crowder III, creates a rare, timely, and unique examination of Northern Black family & community life circa (1945-1955). This story revisits themes of self-determination in the face of daily oppression. The question of today’s generation could be: Was “The Negro” more progressive than “The African American?”
